What makes the BPL different

Reading odds without hype

Odds convert to a rough chance: shorter odds mean the market sees that outcome as likelier. They also include the bookmaker's margin, so the sum of all chances on a market is more than a hundred percent. See cricket odds for the maths.

Do not chase odds because a friend 'knows' a player. Information that travels through chat groups is already priced in by the time you read it.

Staking during a tournament

A long league can wear down a budget through a lot of small bets. Set a weekly Taka limit, not a per-match one, and write it down. When the weekly figure is spent, you watch the rest for free.
